The British Soil Association launched a new Internet site at the beginning of November to provide consumers with information on nutritional matters and organic farming. WhyOrganic.org is organized in the form of a food club, with membership costing 1 GBP (pound) a month, almost 18 EUR a year. Manufacturers are encouraged to print the Internet address on packages to enable their customers to obtain more information about products.
